| Beautiful Murano glass pendant light with original ceiling mounting. The light is a design by famous designer Massimo Vignelli for Venini in the Fifties. Spectacular hand blown pendant lamp designed in 1955, early in Massimo Vignelli’s career, when he lived in Venice. Venini is one of the most outstanding art glass companies on the Venetian island of Murano. None of these lamps are identical and are all handmade/blown.
Hand blown elongated crystal Murano glass. Caramel brown and white on the inside (incamiciato). Some brass parts. Bakelite E27 socket. The lamp has a height of 35 cm (13.8′) and is 15 cm (5.9′) in width. |
