| Ikea Art Event 2018 toy art glass figurine. Designed by the only woman involved in this collection, the Nocturnal creation embodies not only the fantastical artistry but also the feminine spirit of its maker, Junko Mizuno (水野純子, or Mizuno Junko, in her native Japanese). Ikea invited 8 artist to the Målerås glass factory in southern Sweden to create contemporary glass figurines. Junko Mizuno was one of them and made this great creature. Never used in Box. Around 15 cm (6′) tall. |
